A community supporting women to lead and achieve in their in-house roles

The In-House Counsel Women Network was founded in Australia in 2016 by Carla Jedani with a simple idea: create a warm, inviting space where women in in-house legal roles could connect, share ideas and support each other.

From that first conversation, ICWN has grown into a network of local chapters, and it continues to expand as members bring the network to their own cities.

ICWN is a professional community of women who work in-house and are glad to help one another. Membership is currently free and events are generally free.

Events are usually informal lunches or drinks that bring together local members, often including a short talk from a guest speaker. They are relaxed and conversational rather than formal legal conferences. There is no obligation to attend every event.

At ICWN events, members are invited to share an Ask (something they would find helpful from the community) and a Give (something they can offer someone else).
